Green Circle Award
This year, First Baptist received a Green Circle Award from the
Department of Environmental Protection (State of CT), for our
congregation's work on environmental issues. In particular, for being
the first congregation in the state to purchase 100% clean renewable
electric energy. The awards presentation was held at Dinosaur State
Park in Rocky Hill. Those pictured: (back row) DIck and Ruth
Leggett, Tom Carr, Phil Trowbridge, (front row) Tom and Jean Gunn,
DEP Commissioner, Ginny McCarthy, Fay Trowbridge and Jason
Apicella.
